Terrazza 12 has the particular Milanese confidence of a place that can serve skyline views without making them the whole personality. Set on the rooftop of the Brian & Barry building near Piazza San Babila, it looks across the city with the Duomo in the visual conversation.
The venue now operates as A’Riccione Terrazza 12, a rooftop restaurant where seafood and Mediterranean cooking meet a contemporary city setting. Chef Marco Fossati reinterprets the cuisine with a modern hand, with the menu leaning towards fresh fish, crudites, tartare, langoustines, red prawns and oysters. The aperitivo-bar energy still makes sense, but the emphasis now is more polished rooftop restaurant than casual pre-dinner stop.
That is no hardship. Terrazza 12 is best approached as a grown-up pause in the fashion district: a drink before dinner, a seafood-led meal, or a table at sunset when Milan’s rooftops soften into something almost cinematic. The interiors are relaxed rather than stiff, and the terrace gives the city a little distance without leaving its pulse behind.
