COYA Abu Dhabi is not a quiet little supper. Set at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi on Al Maryah Island, the restaurant brings the brand’s Peruvian-inspired, Latin American theatre to the capital: colour, music, ceviche, anticuchos, pisco and a room that generally knows what it is doing after dark.
Japanese, Chinese and Spanish techniques fold into Peruvian flavours, with vegetarian-friendly plates such as wild mushroom ceviche and portobello mushroom skewers. That is the useful Luxa Terra angle. COYA is not plant-based, but it is a strong option for mixed tables where vegan or vegetarian diners still want the main-event feeling rather than the side-menu apology.
Expect a social dining room rather than monastic gastronomy. Interiors are layered and energetic, service is tuned for occasion dining, and the menu is broad enough for groups to share across preferences. The Four Seasons setting adds polish without muting COYA’s party instincts.
Book it for birthdays, visiting friends, date nights with rhythm, or the evening when Abu Dhabi’s quieter elegance needs a little lime, chilli and pisco. Order generously. COYA’s great trick is making dietary diplomacy feel like celebration, which is more difficult than it sounds.
