Kynd Community, Seminyak
Seminyak's original KYND cafe, a bright plant-forward Bali address for vegan-leaning brunch, smoothie bowls, pizzas, and ice cream.
KYND Community Seminyak is not shy, and that is rather the point. The original Bali cafe opened in 2017 as a small plant-based spot and has since grown into the largest venue in the KYND family, with more than 100 seats across indoor and outdoor spaces, a retail corner, and the sort of pink, palm-painted optimism that makes even breakfast feel like it has good lighting.
KYND now styles itself a plant-forward restaurant rather than a strictly vegan one. The appeal for plant-led travellers remains obvious: smoothie bowls, pancakes, waffles, pizzas, salads, burgers, shakes, cakes and ice cream, all wrapped in the kind of tropical branding that made the cafe a Bali fixture.
KYND is as much a room as a meal. People come for the food, certainly, but also for the colour, the swing, the social ease, and the feeling that plant-based dining can be joyful without becoming worthy. It is a useful stop in Seminyak when you want a generous brunch before boutiques, beach clubs, or an afternoon of pretending errands are part of the itinerary.
For Luxa Terra, the sweet spot is the confidence: a restaurant built around kinder eating, but wearing it in bright linen rather than a lecture. Order something pretty. It will almost certainly arrive camera-ready.
