Natura Restaurant
Natura Cabana’s open-air evening restaurant pairs Cabarete ocean views with fresh tropical, vegetarian and vegan-friendly plates.
Natura Restaurant is the evening half of Natura Cabana’s barefoot dining rhythm: ocean air, open sides, and the sound of Cabarete doing most of the soundtrack work. The kitchen runs to dishes such as zucchini or beetroot carpaccio, pumpkin risotto and Caribbean curry.
The boutique hotel has two open-air restaurants, Karaya by day and Natura by night, with Natura built around fusion cooking, fresh tropical ingredients and international flavours. The property caters to dietary needs with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options.
This is not a fully vegan restaurant, and the distinction matters. It is better understood as a considered resort table where plant-forward diners can eat well without having to negotiate the entire evening in advance.
The setting is the selling point, but the menu has enough substance to avoid being merely scenic. Dominican produce, Caribbean warmth, a little international polish, and that enviable resort trick of making dinner feel both relaxed and quietly choreographed.
Go for sunset if you can. The room is open to the elements, the waves are doing their persuasive best, and even a beetroot carpaccio gets more interesting with salt in the air.
