Raffles London at The OWO
Raffles' London hotel fills the Old War Office on Whitehall, with 120 rooms and suites, dining overseen by Mauro Colagreco, a Guerlain Spa and a spy-themed afternoon tea.
Ian Fleming was a regular visitor to the Old War Office on Whitehall. Winston Churchill and Lord Haldane worked here, and MI5 and MI6 ran operations from the building. Now it is Raffles London at The OWO, with 120 rooms and suites and butler service.
The building’s past is on the tea menu. In The Drawing Room, the Secrets & Spies afternoon tea takes its cue from Operation Mincemeat, and the Tea and Tour pairs it with a historical tour of the building.
Mauro Colagreco, a three-Michelin-starred chef, oversees three of the dining experiences, Mauro’s Table and the Mediterranean all-day Saison among them. Kioku by Endo serves Japanese food on the roof, and The Guards Bar and Lounge, Paper Moon and Langosteria fill out the rest. For an hour off, the Guerlain Spa offers Guerlain Paris treatments.
