ABaC Barcelona
A five-star hotel of 15 rooms in a century-old house in Sant Gervasi, with a garden, a spa and Jordi Cruz's three-Michelin-star restaurant ABaC.
Jordi Cruz holds three Michelin stars at ABaC, and the restaurant is the draw. His tasting menu (€315) takes in a “Bloody Mary on the rocks”, a caviar and hazelnut coca and an achiote tuna tamale cooked in clay. He works in a 100 m² kitchen set in the house’s old theatre, and the dining room looks onto the garden.
ABaC Barcelona is a five-star hotel on Avinguda del Tibidabo in Sant Gervasi, about 15 minutes from the centre. It has two buildings: a century-old family house with a garden and mountain views, and a contemporary block beside it.
There are only 15 rooms. All of them face outward, and each has an extra-long bed, a hydromassage bathtub and Bulgari toiletries. Comfort rooms are 26 m² and look onto the garden. The Penthouse adds a 90 m² terrace with an outdoor jacuzzi, sun loungers and views over Barcelona.
The spa has a heated pool with jacuzzi, a cold pool, hot-stone loungers and two treatment cabins, and the gym has Technogym equipment. A small collection of contemporary painting and sculpture runs through the house, and guests have private parking.
