Restaurant KLE
Michelin-starred Zurich vegan restaurant from Zineb Hattab, serving sustainable plant-based tasting menus with Moroccan and Mexican influences.
Restaurant KLE is Zurich plant-based dining with a Michelin star and a very steady hand. The Wiedikon restaurant is led by Zineb “Zizi” Hattab, a former engineer with experience in prestigious kitchens, serving creative vegan dishes with Moroccan and Mexican influences. It holds both a Michelin star and a Michelin Green Star for sustainability.
The name comes from Sauerklee, a plant with a long culinary history, and that feels right for a restaurant interested in transformation. KLE’s cooking is not about making vegetables behave like meat. It is about showing how roots, leaves, spice, acid and technique can make plants feel newly articulate.
Expect a tasting-menu mood rather than a casual vegan supper. Biodynamic wine pairings, local and sustainable ingredients, and a cosy room in District 3 give the experience polish without stiffness. KLE is exactly the sort of restaurant Luxa Terra likes to see: values on the plate, skill in the kitchen, and no lecture necessary.
