Sport-Hotel Victoria is Gstaad at its most easygoing: a family-run hotel restaurant and pizzeria on Promenade 72, right in the car-free village centre. No velvet-rope theatrics, no tasting-menu solemnity. Just Swiss and Italian comfort, a terrace in summer and the useful knowledge that dinner can be both relaxed and rather charming.
The kitchen runs Swiss cuisine and Italian specialities, including fondue and pizza. For vegetarian travellers, this is the sort of place where a meat-free pizza, pasta or salad can rescue a mountain day without turning the evening into a logistics project.
