The Connaught
A Mayfair hotel on Carlos Place with Hélène Darroze's three-Michelin-star restaurant, the award-winning Connaught Bar, an Aman Spa and suites with personal butlers.
Hélène Darroze at The Connaught holds three Michelin stars, and The Connaught Bar, the hotel’s award-winning cocktail bar, shares the address: Carlos Place, in the Mount Street corner of Mayfair.
A harpist plays at afternoon tea in Jean-Georges at The Connaught from Friday to Sunday. The sandwiches mix British classics with South East Asian flavours, and the scones come with Cornish clotted cream. Look up from your cup and you will find art by Louise Bourgeois, stained glass by Jean-Michel Othoniel and illustrations by Jean Jullien.
Suites come with personal butlers and private terraces. The Connaught Suite, with one bedroom, runs to about 72 square metres overlooking Carlos Place. Deep inside the hotel sits the Aman Spa.
