The Londoner
A 16-storey hotel on Leicester Square with 350 rooms and suites, six restaurants and bars including a rooftop bar, a wellness retreat and guest-only parlour rooms.
Sixteen storeys rise from the south-west corner of Leicester Square at The Londoner, close to the Piccadilly line, holding 350 bedrooms and suites. It calls itself a five-star super boutique hotel.
Six restaurants and bars share the building. The rooftop bar, 8 at The Londoner, takes its style from a Japanese drinking house. Down at The Stage, Champagne pours from breakfast to evening, with live music and afternoon tea. Whitcomb’s serves Mediterranean-inspired food, and Joshua’s Tavern runs a monthly pub quiz.
Hotel guests get The Residence, three parlour rooms closed to the public. The Retreat holds the treatment rooms and gym, and two screening rooms and a ballroom for up to 850 guests complete the building.
