The Peninsula London
A purpose-built Belgravia hotel at Hyde Park Corner, with Peter Marino interiors, Claude Bosi's two-Michelin-star rooftop restaurant and a 25-metre indoor pool.
Arrive from 6am and leave as late as 10pm: Peninsula Time at The Peninsula London comes at no charge. The hotel was built from the ground up at 1 Grosvenor Place, beside Hyde Park Corner and Wellington Arch, and designed to harmonise with the heritage buildings around it. Peter Marino designed the interiors, and rooms look over landscaped courtyards or Belgravia.
Up on the roof, Brooklands by Claude Bosi holds two Michelin stars, with a menu and setting inspired by British motorsport and the Brooklands Bar beside it. Lower down, The Lobby serves all-day food and Peninsula Afternoon Tea with live music under hand-painted de Gournay murals, and Canton Blue cooks modern Cantonese.
The spa fills the lower floor. Its 25-metre indoor pool is fitted with underwater speakers, and the fitness centre stays open around the clock.
