The Knox, Auberge Collection, opens in Dallas in January from $1,000 a night

Auberge Collection is now taking bookings for The Knox, Auberge Collection, a new hotel in Dallas that begins welcoming guests on 29 January 2027. Rates start at $1,000 a night. It is the first Auberge address in Texas and the centrepiece of the Knox Street neighbourhood's redevelopment.

The property will hold 140 guest rooms and suites alongside 48 premier private residences, set around dining venues, a wellbeing destination, event spaces and a pool garden with skyline views. Chris Clerc, Auberge Collection's president and chief executive, called the opening "an exciting new chapter" for the brand.

The interiors come from Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, the firm behind The Ned and Annabel's in London, while private residences fall to Chad Dorsey Design. Suites carry distinct living and dining areas, and suite guests receive in-room wellbeing amenities including curated beauty drawers and a menu of skincare and recovery devices.

Two signature suites anchor the top of the house. The Manse, its largest, holds a private fitness space, wellness room, bar, media room and generous entertaining areas. The Promenade Suite adds a 2,100 sq ft terrace with several dining and lounge zones, an indoor bar and a living room sized for celebrations and executive gatherings.

For longer stays, the hotel offers two- and three-bedroom apartments with indoor-outdoor living and a kitchen area. The two-bedroom options are named Abbott House and Hester House, while Hyland House is the three-bedroom. Each pairs the privacy of a home with the hotel's service. The property is directly along the Katy Trail.

That gives guests access to a 3.5-mile green corridor for walking, running and biking, placing them steps from the neighbourhood's tree-lined streets, designer boutiques and restaurants. Auberge describes the hotel as a social anchor for a district being remade as a mixed-use destination.

The development unites several partners. BDT & MSD Partners led the vision with Trammell Crow Company, the owners of Highland Park Village, and The Retail Connection, and the group is reimagining Knox Street as a mixed-use area with the hotel at its centre. The collaboration draws on decades of luxury real estate and retail experience.

"From the beginning, our vision for The Knox was to create a place that feels distinctly Dallas," said Sabrina Gleizer of BDT & MSD Partners. "Auberge has been an incredible partner in bringing that vision to life." The sentiment is echoed by the property's own leadership as it prepares to open.

"We are delighted to begin welcoming guests to The Knox and introduce a new expression of luxury hospitality to Dallas," said Rick Fidel, regional vice president and general manager. "The Knox was designed to be more than a hotel. It will be a gathering place where exceptional dining, thoughtful wellbeing and inspired design come together."

What the dining and wellbeing programmes cover

The dining offer runs from breakfast to last call across several venues. A signature restaurant will revive Americana classics in a moody, vibrant room; next door, an indoor-outdoor salon serves European-style cooking with champagne. An evening lounge promises a cocktail experience pitched between a speakeasy and a glamorous bar.

Outdoor, poolside dining looks over the Dallas skyline from a verdant oasis serving bright, light fare. The wellbeing offer is a Wellbeing by Auberge concept built on the brand's Joy of Wellbeing philosophy, blending science, beauty and connection through advanced therapies, thermal rituals and high-performance wellness programming.

Guests can also move through a multi-sensory thermal journey set in sculptural bathing environments designed for deep restoration, with regenerative skin therapies and exclusive programming layered in. Auberge positions the whole as both a personal sanctuary and a space for shared experience, and it is a first for Dallas.

The event spaces

The hotel aims to become a leading Dallas venue for weddings, meetings and social gatherings, with a dedicated private entrance ascending to second-floor event rooms. The Colonnade Room is the grand ballroom, reached through The Gallery, an art-lined pre-function space suited to receptions and arrivals.

The ballroom features floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace, making it a canvas for milestone celebrations. On the third floor, the Knox Parlour Rooms comprise four interconnecting environments: the Waldon Room for intimate gatherings, the light-filled Margay and Barlow meeting rooms with private terraces, and the Kestrel Room with its tented ceilings.

For smaller occasions, the Trophy Room is tucked inside the signature restaurant, its walls draped in tapestries and the space crafted for social gatherings and special culinary moments. The hotel also operates a bespoke concept store, rounding out its retail and social offer alongside the private residences.

The opening lands in the middle of a wider expansion for Auberge Collection. The brand will introduce Cambridge House in London's Mayfair next year and launched Auberge Safari earlier this year, a collection of nine properties across Tanzania's most iconic wildlife destinations.

Those additions follow recent openings including Collegio alla Querce in Florence and The Woodward in Geneva. Clerc said the Dallas project shows the group "bringing our distinctive approach to hospitality to the world's most dynamic cities," positioning The Knox as a template for Auberge's urban ambitions.

Auberge has not published pricing for the residences or the signature suites, nor confirmed opening dates for individual dining venues beyond the hotel's own arrival date.
