Portrait Firenze
A Lungarno Collection hotel of 37 rooms and suites on the Arno, a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio, with a 120 sq m suite whose terrace looks straight at the bridge.
Ask for the sixth floor at Portrait Firenze. The Ponte Vecchio Suite up there has 120 sq m, two bedrooms and a 40 sq m terrace facing the bridge. Take the whole floor and the Penthouse Floor gives you 273 sq m, five bedrooms and a 50 sq m terrace over the Arno.
The hotel stands on the Lungarno degli Acciaiuoli, a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio. It belongs to the Lungarno Collection, the Ferragamo family’s hotel group, and Forbes Travel Guide awarded it five stars in 2026. Michele Bonan designed its 37 rooms and suites in a mid-century style, and Portrait Studios start at 40 sq m.
Caffè dell’Oro, on the same street, is the hotel’s restaurant. It is open from 7am to 11pm with chef Luca Armellino in the kitchen. From the terrace you look over the Ponte Vecchio.
Two suites miss the river: the Timeless Suite and the Family Suite have no river view. The hotel is inside Florence’s limited traffic zone, so if you arrive by car it registers your plate for access.
