Seeds Cafe
Fornebu cafe once known for plant-based bowls, now serving a broader menu while keeping vegan bowls and cakes in the mix.
Seeds Cafe is no longer a strictly plant-based address. The Fornebu restaurant has moved from an entirely plant-based menu to a broader offer focused on good ingredients, with burgers, sourdough and pizza now joining the lineup.
That said, the plant-forward thread has not disappeared. Its bowls remain fully plant-based and gluten-free, as do its cakes. Asian-inspired plates, vegan poke bowls and reasonable prices still explain why it matters to vegan travellers in Norway, but the old “vegan restaurant” framing is now too broad.
For travellers, Seeds Cafe is best treated as a flexible Fornebu cafe rather than a dedicated vegan pilgrimage. Scan the menu for the plant-based bowls that remain the safest fit for Luxa Terra readers.
The appeal, when the timing works, is practical: a relaxed neighbourhood stop with enough vegan-friendly food to rescue a day near Fornebu from becoming bread-and-black-coffee minimalism. We support rescue missions of this nature.
