Hotel Neri
A five-star Relais & Châteaux hotel of 22 rooms in two historic buildings, one a 12th-century palace, on Sant Felip Neri Square, in Barcelona's Gothic Quarter.
When Hotel Neri was restored, an old courtyard came to light, along with original sgraffito wall decoration that the hotel calls the most important in the city. They belong to a 12th-century medieval palace, one of two historic buildings the hotel occupies on Sant Felip Neri Square, in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and next to the old Jewish quarter. It is the only Relais & Châteaux hotel in Barcelona.
Virginia Figueras and Franco Corada designed the 22 rooms and suites and hung them with photographs from the La Mirada Transeúnte collection. Want the square on your doorstep? The Deluxe Balcony has a balcony you can step out onto over it. The Deluxe Terrace has a terrace with an outdoor bathtub, and the Junior Suite and Suite Neri add living areas.
“a” is the only restaurant on Sant Felip Neri Square, and in the evenings its tables go out onto it. Chef Alain Guiard reworks classic recipes, and the tatin is the star dish. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the bar stays open until midnight.
On the top floor, Roba Estesa is a discreet planted terrace, with the quiet of the Gothic Quarter all around it.
