Delano London opens in early 2027 overlooking Hyde Park with a members club
More than half of the 67 rooms are suites, and 14 face the park.
Delano London is set to open in early 2027, positioned among the grand Victorian buildings and embassies of one of the capital's most distinguished neighbourhoods, with views over Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park. The opening brings the Delano brand to London after Miami, Dubai and Paris.
The hotel holds 67 keys across five floors. More than half will be suites, many of them with walk-in wardrobes and private terraces, and 14 will offer prime views across Hyde Park. Archer Humphryes Architects has designed the interiors, which are described as residential with subtly theatrical details.
The intention, the hotel says, is to create an atmosphere of discovery. Delano's sensibility for magnetic nightlife, story-led dining and innovative wellness is carried through every part of the property, from the food to the late-night rooms to the spa.
At the centre of the dining offer is Lana Lusa, a restaurant designed by Pirajean Lees and arriving in London for the first time through Paris Society. The concept was created by founder Jessica Viveiro Kassim and celebrates the warmth and conviviality of Mediterranean hospitality.
The cocktail offering is Rose Bar, which reimagines the glamour of its legendary Miami Beach counterpart and carries Delano's iconic after-dark spirit into the capital. Inside it are the Rose Bar Lounge and the Zodiac Room, both offering more intimate settings for late-night revelry.
Wellness is handled by The Source by Delano, positioned as a fresh approach centred on restorative movement and longevity. Contrast therapy and treatment spaces come with state-of-the-art facilities, plus a rotating line-up of leading practitioners, residencies and partnerships with notable names in wellness.
The art programme has been curated by London-based consultancy Cramer & Bell, who have assembled an original collection celebrating British art alongside established international artists. Highlights include the South African artist Kimathi Mafafo and London-based Isaac Andrews, Hormazd Narielwalla and Gergei Erdei.
Completing the experience is the Delano Members Club, which brings together what the hotel calls a global community of creative, accomplished and curious minds. Members will receive experiences, partnerships and privileges that reach past the hotel's doors, in London and abroad.
Delano Beyond is a global programme that will arrange bespoke trips for members. The membership offer is designed to extend the brand's reach far outside London, tying the property into the wider Delano network of hotels and communities.
Why London matters to the brand
Ben Pundole, chief brand officer for Delano Hotels, says: "Delano has always been about creating a feeling." For him, bringing it to London carries particular weight because it is his home city, one with what he calls a rich and varied cultural history.
"Delano London will be a space for discovery," Pundole says, "somewhere you might strike up a conversation at Rose Bar with someone you'd never ordinarily meet, encounter a work by an emerging artist, or simply settle into an atmosphere that transports you beyond the bustle of the city outside."
He describes the hotel as a place for those who look for unique experiences rather than a conventional stay. Guests, in his telling, may meet strangers at the bar or come across an emerging artist's work on the walls.
The address is beside Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, an area dominated by embassies and grand Victorian architecture. Delano is entering one of London's most rarefied postcodes, where the competition runs from Raffles London at The OWO to Bulgari Hotel London and the Sheraton Grand on Park Lane.
What the hotel has not yet said
Delano London joins a crowded field of luxury openings in the capital. We rate the city's best places to stay in our guide to luxury hotels in London, which runs from the Ritz through to Raffles at The OWO, and Delano's arrival will add a nightlife-led contender.
What is not yet disclosed is the opening date beyond early 2027, the room rates, or the terms of membership for the Delano Members Club. The hotel has set out its shape, its dining, its art and its wellness, while leaving the commercial details for closer to launch.
