Field & Stream Lodge Co. to open lodges in Bend, Oregon and Big Bear, California

Field & Stream Lodge Co. has named its second and third properties: a 151-room lodge in Bend, Oregon, and a 148-room lodge in Big Bear, California, both due to open in 2028. Each will be built from a full renovation of an existing hotel rather than new construction, following the brand's debut lodge in Bozeman, Montana.

The Bend property is a conversion of the former Shilo Inn. It is on the banks of the Deschutes River, a waterway the company describes as known for blue-ribbon trout and steelhead fishing, and it is less than two miles from downtown Bend.

Big Bear's lodge is the former Holiday Inn Resort Big Bear on Village Drive. The 148-room property will keep a restaurant, meeting space, suites, and an outdoor pool and hot tub, and is a ten-minute walk from Big Bear Lake and minutes from Bear Mountain Golf Course.
