Yotel makes Thailand debut with 250 room Bangkok hotel at Cloud 11
The 250 key hotel opens on 15 October as the brand's first Select by Hilton property in Asia.
Yotel is entering Thailand for the first time, with Yotel Bangkok Sukhumvit opening its doors on 15 October 2026 as the first hotel to open inside Cloud 11, a newly built mixed use development in the city's South Sukhumvit district, in the south east of Bangkok.
The property is the brand's 24th hotel worldwide and its fourth in Asia. It also marks Yotel's first Asian hotel to join Select by Hilton, tying the brand's compact, tech led rooms to Hilton's wider distribution and loyalty network for the first time on the continent.
Cloud 11 itself opened in July 2026 and is described as a first of its kind destination, combining professional content production and music recording studios, galleries, event venues, a cinema, wellness facilities, offices, retail and year round programming designed to inspire creativity and generate new business.
What guests get in the rooms
Rooms carry Yotel's signature features, including self service check in stations the brand says can get a guest checked in within a minute, and the reclining SmartBed built into the brand's calm, sleep focused room design. Guest service robots deliver bottled water, fresh towels and other amenities directly to rooms.
Layouts include the brand's Premium Queen rooms alongside twin and interconnecting options, plus larger First Class King rooms with a sofa or sofa bed, aimed at groups of friends and families. Rooms also include super fast WiFi, SmartTVs, wireless charging, mini coolers and mood lighting.
Bathrooms have monsoon showers and amenities by Urban Jungle. Depending on aspect, rooms look out over the rooftop park at the centre of Cloud 11 or towards Bang Krachao, the area of forest and wetland known locally as Bangkok's green lung, with higher floors also revealing the wider city skyline.
The bars, pool and workspace on site
Facilities include the Yotel Swim Club, an outdoor pool with its own pool bar, and a gym fitted with new equipment. Komyuniti combines all day dining with co working in a single social hub that connects directly through to the rest of the Cloud 11 development.
A rooftop bar and restaurant called Fatty's follows in November 2026, on the 23rd floor, giving hotel guests and Bangkok residents a new elevated spot with views over Cloud 11 and across the city. It arrives roughly a month after the hotel itself opens.
Why Yotel chose this site
Phil Andreopoulos, chief executive of Yotel, called Bangkok one of the world's most iconic tourist cities and also a vibrant business hub drawing entrepreneurs and digital nomads from around the globe. He said Cloud 11 is at the heart of Thailand's growing creative economy and is a new investment landmark for the country.
Andreopoulos said the site made it the natural choice for the brand's first Bangkok hotel. "Our brand has always been about challenging traditional hospitality with intuitively designed spaces, smart experiences and rooms engineered to deliver the best sleep," he said, describing the opening as a chance to help shape Thailand's future.
The arrival adds a fourth Asian address to a brand better known for compact, technology driven hotels near airports and city centres elsewhere in the world. Landing inside a purpose built creative campus, rather than a conventional business district, is a departure from that earlier pattern.
Thailand's wider hotel pipeline
Bangkok continues to draw new international hotel openings as operators compete for both business travellers and the digital nomad crowd the city has increasingly attracted, a dynamic that also runs through our coverage of Thailand as a destination for new hospitality projects.
The timing lines up with a broader pattern of established hotel groups pushing into markets through mixed use, culture led developments rather than standalone towers, a route also visible in projects such as Canopy by Hilton's recent debut in Utah's Deer Valley, which opened with 180 rooms.
Yotel's mix of self service check in, sleep engineered rooms and robot delivered amenities has defined the brand at airport and city centre sites elsewhere, and Cloud 11 tests whether that formula travels into a campus built around music studios, galleries and year round creative programming.
No further Yotel openings in Thailand or elsewhere in Asia have been announced alongside this launch, leaving Bangkok as the brand's sole confirmed foothold in the country for now, with the October and November dates the only ones the company has fixed.
