The Peninsula Paris

A Paris Palace hotel on Avenue Kléber, with spacious rooms, rooftop dining, grand public rooms and a serious wellness floor.

The Peninsula Paris occupies the sort of building that makes arriving feel slightly ceremonial. Set on Avenue Kléber in the 16th arrondissement, close to the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs-Élysées, it carries official Palace status and a full complement of grande dame gestures: sweeping public rooms, serious dining and suites that understand the value of space in Paris.

Expect 200 rooms, tablet technology, private rooftop gardens in select suites, and the hotel’s memorable dining spread: Cantonese-influenced LiLi, L’Oiseau Blanc, Le Bar Kléber and Le Lobby. The spa remains a major part of the address: Paris’s largest hotel spa, with six treatment rooms, two private suites, a 20-metre indoor pool and two vitality pools.

This is not the city’s quietest hotel, nor its most discreet. It is a polished Parisian statement piece with enough scale to hold restaurants, wellness, events and rooftop views without feeling improvised. The ethical-luxury angle is softer here, resting more on considered service, walkable city access and a hospitality group with public sustainability commitments than on overt eco-signalling. Come for a capital-P Paris stay: generous, glamorous and just formal enough to make packing properly feel wise.
