Finca Cortesín Hotel Golf & Spa

An Andalusian cortijo-style hotel of 67 suites and villas on the Costa del Sol at Casares, with a Cabell B. Robinson course that hosted the Solheim Cup, a 2,200 m² spa and a beach club.

The 7th at Finca Cortesín measures 452 metres, and the hotel says it is the longest par 4 on the Costa del Sol. Cabell B. Robinson designed the 18-hole championship course, par 72. Several holes look out to the Mediterranean, and the 10th and 17th face the Sierra Bermeja. In September 2023 it hosted the Solheim Cup, the first time the event came to Spain, after staging the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2009, 2011 and 2012. A Nicklaus Academy is on site.

The hotel is at Casares, in Málaga province on the Costa del Sol, and it is built in the style of an Andalusian cortijo. Its 67 suites and multi-bedroom villas sit around four pools. The Junior Suite is 52 m², and the Pool Suite Sea View adds a 60 m² terrace with a private pool. Residence La Reserva is a private villa of 420 m² with four en-suite bedrooms.

The spa covers more than 2,200 m², with thermal baths, a heated saltwater pool and a Thai Spa of ten treatment rooms and a double suite. Products are by Biologique Recherche. The ARANI Yoga & Meditation Center is up on a hill.

Eat at El Jardín de Lutz, Don Giovanni, the Clubhouse or REI, and drink at the Blue Bar. The Beach Club has a 35-metre infinity pool and a Mediterranean menu. Tennis, padel, riding, sailing and cycling fill the days off the course. The hotel holds a MICHELIN Key.
