The Majestic Hotel-Spa Champs-Elysées calls itself a luxury urban resort, and the pool backs it up. There is a lot to be said for a few lengths before breakfast, then a walk to the Arc de Triomphe, 400 metres from the door.

The hotel is at 30 rue La Pérouse in the 16th arrondissement, a short walk from the Champs-Élysées. The Eiffel Tower is 1.6 km away by the hotel’s own count. It belongs to Les Hôtels Baverez, the Parisian family group that also runs the Regina on Place des Pyramides and has managed its hotels since 1900.

The hotel has 57 rooms including 15 suites. They make a convincing case for staying longer than a weekend. More than half have a kitchenette, and every Grand Deluxe room comes with a fully equipped one. Classic rooms measure 25 m², Premium rooms have been newly renovated and are extra large, and Grand Deluxe rooms take their cue from Parisian apartments. Bathrooms have walk-in showers or bathtubs depending on the category, with bathrobes and slippers in every one.

The suites are where the views live. Some have a kitchenette, others a large private terrace. The Eiffel Tower Terrace Suite has a private terrace with the tower in view, and the Suite Terrasse on the 5th floor looks over the street from its own outdoor space. For families or friends, there is a two-bedroom apartment with a terrace.

The spa is the heart of the place. Across 450 m² you get a 14 x 5 m indoor pool heated to 29°C, with a counter-current system for anyone who swims for real, plus two hammams, a sauna and a fitness room. The pool is open all year round. If you are planning a whole trip around treatments, our guide to the best spas in Paris is the next read.

Restaurant Sibien serves a balanced menu that follows the seasons, “but not without indulgence”, as the hotel puts it. The bar is next door, and both can be booked privately. The catch is the timetable: the restaurant serves lunch only, Monday to Friday, from 12:00 to 2:30 pm. You will be eating dinner out.

Breakfast follows the same balanced line as the restaurant menu. The hotel has rooms adapted for guests with reduced mobility, and in 2026 it received the Green Key label for its work on water, energy and waste.

The Majestic is the quieter, more residential pick on our list of the best luxury hotels in Paris. Book it for a long stay, a kitchenette and a pool you can actually swim in.
